Nelson Mandela was
arrested on the 7 of May 1963. He was arrested for leaving South Africa and
suggesting that workers should strike. He was sentenced for five years. He
served hiss five years in Pretoria Local Prison. May 1963 they transferred him
to Robben Island and were returned to Pretoria on the 12 of July.
